🕊️ Remembrance Sunday: Standing Together in Catshill

This Sunday, I’ll be attending the Catshill Remembrance Parade with deep pride—not just as a local business owner, but as a father. My eldest son will be taking part in the parade with his Beaver group, and I couldn’t be prouder to see him take part in such a meaningful tradition.

Remembrance Sunday is a time to pause, reflect, and honour those who gave everything for the freedoms we hold today. It’s also a chance to stand shoulder to shoulder with our community—young and old—as we remember together.

As the bugle sounds and the silence falls, I’ll be thinking of the generations who served, the families who waited, and the legacy they left behind. I’ll also be looking at my son, learning what it means to show respect, wear his uniform with pride, and be part of something bigger than himself.

From all of us at Oliver’s Locks, we honour the fallen, support the living, and stand with our community in remembrance.

Lest we forget. 🌺
