Today’s job: The safe that locked itself… with the keys inside.

A lovely customer had just moved house and, wanting to keep their safe keys secure, popped them inside the safe. All good — until the battery powering the keypad fell out during the move.

No battery = no keypad = no access to the keys.

I popped over this afternoon and opened the safe without any drilling or damage. Once inside, we retrieved the keys, refitted the battery, and the safe was back to normal.

They kindly left a fantastic review afterwards, saying how professional and friendly the service was — and that while other locksmiths suggested drilling and quoted double the price, I was able to pick the lock within minutes with no damage at all. It’s always great to hear feedback like that, especially from people settling into a new home.

If you’ve had a move‑day mishap or something isn’t working as it should, give me a shout. I’m always happy to help.
