🔧 A Busy & Varied Week at Oliver’s Locks

It’s been another full week with a real mix of jobs — the kind that keeps things interesting and reminds me why I love what I do.


We started with a couple of door alignment issues, both caused by doors drifting out of position over time. A proper service and adjustment made a huge difference, leaving customers with smooth, easy‑to‑use doors again.


Mid‑week included a job for a landlord after a new tenant moved in. I carried out a mortice lock change and rim cylinder replacement, making sure everything was secure and up to standard for the new arrival.


There were also a few emergency callouts.

We've also had a door with broken parts inside the gearbox. Once opened up, the damage was clear — but with the right parts and a careful approach, everything was repaired and made safe again.


Alongside the hands‑on work, I’ve been quoting upcoming jobs, helping customers plan ahead for repairs, upgrades, and servicing.


A busy week, but a rewarding one — and as always, I’m grateful for the brilliant customers I get to help.
